Intended for treatment of flat, axisymmetrical spherical and aspheric surfaces, and also cylindrical and conical surfaces of optical details from the different optical environments (glass, pyroceram, carbide of silicon, germanium), enshrined in the technological adaptations or on face-plate of table machine. Optical components are processed by the following technological conversions:

- grinding the conical mounting holes using a special tool;
- formation of structural and technological facets.
